Dear Mary, Your music captured me a youth - The title PP&M album was the first one I ever owned and your commitment to justice and human rights kindled a commitment that has sustained me through life. Your steadfastness, dignity and authenticity through all these years coupled with all of the genuine love, is an enduring gift to us all. I pray for the progress of your noble soul through all the worlds of God.

thanks and sad emotions to the family and friends left behind. every contact with PP&M was a lifelong memory, of how life was supposed to be lived, of being in the presence of "MENSCH" (or two Mensch and a Menschette, to use Riders in the Sky terminology) just hearing you all warm up in Boulder or push for "light one candle" in Laramie after Matthew Sheppard got murdered or that the grandchildren are good enough people to enjoy singing "If I had a hammer" with feeling makes the world a better place to live in. You all have done so much to be proud of. Bruce

Mrs. travers, what a great and strong woman you were. You gave others with cancer a will and a hope. You will be missed deeply and this world will never be the same with out you. The sound of your voice when you sung a song is always a blessing. God gave you too us and now He need another great person to be by His side so he called on you. You will always be in my heart. Thanks for all the love you gave to this world. And yes, the answer my friend is blowing in the wind....

Mary's legacy will be passed opn to my granddaughters. I cherish a concert when her daughter, Erica was just a sprite. Her music has had a huge influence in my life.
